Starting with the history of the The War of the Roses when King Edward IV took the throne from Henry VI and taking us through his marriage to Elizabeth Wydeville and Elizabeth of York's childhood in Royal Palaces and in Sanctuary; through good times and bad and through times when she knew not what or who she was or where she would end up, we follow Elizabeth of York from birth to her marriage to King Henry VII, through the births and deaths of her children to her own death and burial.

All the intrigues of this fascinating age are discussed - from who thought they had the right to the throne, the reasons and politics behind wars and marriages, scandal and murder and the great mystery of the Princes in the Tower, Elizabeth of York's young brothers, this is a history of medieval England that will both fascinate and educate you.

Beautifully written with facts explained and myths dispelled this is a must read for any fan of the Tudors and their predecessors.
